American League (8u-9u) - Grades 2 & 3 - Limited to no greater than 3rd grade for safety.

This division is developmental - no playoffs. All Star Game at the end of the season.

IMPORTANT DATES

- Games: Sundays at Dogwood Park. Makeup games on weeknights.

- 10 game season guaranteed

- Official Washington Nationals jersey and hat, and socks will be provided to each player.

- Hybrid kid and Coach pitch.

- USA and USSSA bats are permitted. 

- 2-3 team bats will be provided. 

- 1 game per week.

- Game times: 1 hour and 45 minute hard stop. 

- 1 practice per week.

- Optional: 1 batting cage session per week - coach pitch and tee work only.

- 40/60 field

- Coaches will receive game balls, practice balls, catcher's gear, practice bases and hitting tee.
